Year 6 Home Learning (Date set: 23/04/21)
Homework at Harper Bell is based around the core skills of reading, writing and maths. Bug Club. All children have access to the online Bug Club library. All children at Harper Bell have been put in a spelling group according to their ability. Each week they must learn their spellings before sitting a test at school each Friday afternoon. Children who get 13 or more spellings correct during their weekly test are moved up to the next group.

Due to the current Covid situation, reading books and reading records can't be sent home with the children. Instead, we ask you to listen to your child read using books on the Bug Club website. There is a link to the website and a short video to explain logging in and using the website below. Your child's class teacher has also set up a private channel on Teams through their Hwb account.
Remote Learning Policy. Step one is logging into our teams account, where you will be asked to add your username. You do not need to add a capital letter at the start of the email for this. You will then be prompted to add your password, which has currently been set as School with a capital letter at the start. When you have signed in with your email and password, you will be prompted to make a new, individual password to protect your privacy.
